Swine Flu Pandemic

The National Swine Flu Service is now available and should you be experiencing flu like symptoms please contact them on 0800 153 100 or visit www.direct.gov.uk/pandemicflu  

Sensible precautions you can take now include:

• Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing using a tissue and disposing of dirty tissues promptly and carefully
• Maintain good hygiene by washing hands frequently with soap and water to reduce the spread of any virus from your hands to other people
• Clean hard surfaces (eg door handles) frequently with a normal cleaning product
• make sure any children also follow this advice
• Stay at home if you develop any flu-like symptoms and see contacts below for further advice
