** Note: We can only give flu jabs to Stansted Surgery patients**

Who can have a flu jab AT THE SURGERY?

  • All patients over 65
  • Patients between 6 months and 64 years old with and underlying health condition

Chronic Respiratory Disease
Chronic Heart Disease
Chronic kidney (stage 3,4 & 5)
Chronic Liver, neurological conditions, learning disability
Diabetes
Immunosuppressed, asplenia, scenic dysfunction.

  • Pregnancy
  • Carers
  • Carers and household contacts of immunocompromised individuals
  • Morbidly obese BMI >40
  • Health and Social Care Staff
  • Children (with no underlying health conditions) aged 2 or 3 on 31 August 2022
  • Adults aged between 50 and 64 years old with no underlying health conditions (but we cannot start this cohort until 15 October 2022.

When can you have your flu jab?

We hope to do the majority of flu jabs on Saturday 24 September 2022 between 8am and 12pm. This clinic is FOR STANSTED SURGERY PATIENTS ONLY

(HOWEVER, we cannot do healthy children aged 2 or 3 on this date. The available dates for clinics for these children will be listed below. We also cannot give flu jabs to healthy adults aged between 50 and 64 years old on this day. We will contact this group after 15 October with instructions on how to obtain a flu jab)

There is NO NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT for Saturday 24 September 2022. It is a walk-in clinic, but to help manage traffic into Stansted, please attend as follows:

(Patients who qualify for a Covid-19 Booster can have their booster at the same time as their flu jab if they wish to)

Patients unable to attend on Saturday 24 September should contact the surgery to arrange an appointment for their flu jab.

7 October (PM)

Children in school years Reception, and years 1-6, Years  7-9 , 10-11 will be given at school.
