What do I do in an Emergency

Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.

If you need  to contact us in an Emergency during surgey hours 08.00 and 18.30 please call us on 

01279 812908. This is for emergencies only and we shall ask you to call through on the main line 01279 813200 if it is not. Prescriptions and path results are NOT an emergcency so please do not use this number.

If you need urgent medical advice during surgery hours, phone the surgery. Please be prepared to give some information to the receptionist. If you need to see a doctor urgently when the surgery is closed call NHS 111 where atraine advisor will triage your call. They will advise whether you need to go to the nearest pharmacy, A&E or if there is an alternative such as an NHS walk-in centre or Minor Injuries Unit.
